About Thames & Newcastle
Thames & Newcastle is a family-run building company established in 1986. It works with private clients, developers and architects on residential construction and bespoke commercial projects across London and the South East, offering traditional and design-and-build contracts. Its work includes new builds, refurbishments, renovations and basement construction.
The company has an in-house basement team and joinery workshop. Its basement specialists coordinate groundworks and construction, and design and install structural waterproofing systems. The joinery team makes bespoke windows, doors, wardrobes, furniture and staircases, and can reproduce period details such as Victorian skirting and mouldings.
Its property management and aftercare team arranges tailored maintenance plans, servicing and repairs. This includes renewable energy and ventilation equipment, pools and spas, and home security systems. The team also advises on energy providers, security upgrades, home improvements and future-proofing. The company works with subcontractors as well as directly employed tradespeople.
