Tapco HomeDry carries out damp proofing, condensation control, basement waterproofing and timber treatment for homeowners, landlords, businesses and property professionals. Established in 1971, it works across London and the Home Counties. Its technicians treat rising and penetrating damp, woodworm, dry rot and wet rot, and replace heavily decayed timber where needed.

The company arranges specialist surveys before recommending remedial work. Surveyors investigate damp and timber problems, provide reports and recommendations, and are qualified to Property Care Association standards. Tapco says its surveyors are not paid commission and recommend treatment only where necessary.

Tapco states that its maintenance repairs have a five-year guarantee and timber treatment and replacement have a 20-year guarantee.
