About Sunsave
Sunsave arranges solar panel and battery systems for households across the UK through its Sunsave Plus subscription. Customers pay fixed monthly amounts with no upfront payment and own the system from installation. The company handles design, the DNO application, survey, supply, installation, monitoring and financing, then helps customers choose an energy tariff.
Co-founders Alick and Ben met at Oxford and founded Sunsave in 2022. The company says its team has more than 50 people and decades of combined solar industry experience. Customers can begin with an online estimate and a free remote consultation; a solar expert prepares a home-specific design and savings estimate validated by EPVS before the customer decides whether to proceed.
Sunsave says installations can be completed within a few days after work starts. Sunsave Plus includes a 20-year guarantee, 24/7 remote monitoring, downtime cover and insurance against damage, fire and theft. The company says it will replace batteries and inverters when required and support customers through repairs. Its installation network reaches Scotland, including Dundee, Perth and Dumbarton.
