About Studio CMA (Ciarcelluti Mathers Architects)

Studio CMA is a husband-and-wife architecture practice led by Daniela Ciarcelluti and Greg Mathers. It works with homeowners on period and existing homes, including renovations, extensions and low-energy retrofits, with a focus on comfort, energy performance and the character of the building.

Daniela leads concepts, interiors, colours and lighting; Greg oversees budgets, schedules and technical design. Their services include architectural interiors, retrofit strategy and full architectural support from design and planning through tendering and, where appointed, construction-stage support.

Projects usually begin with a discovery call and may proceed to a home visit and written appraisal covering the brief, feasibility, costs and next steps. The practice is based in East London and regularly works across Islington, Hackney, Camden, Haringey and Waltham Forest.
