About Strong Base Carpentry & Joinery
Strong Base Carpentry & Joinery designs, makes and installs bespoke timber doors, windows, staircases and furniture for homeowners and construction professionals. The business began in 2007 as the joinery arm of SB Construction and became a limited company in 2012. Its team works on individual pieces as well as larger commissions, including custom windows and doors for home extensions.
A dedicated workshop makes the products in house using CNC machinery alongside hand joinery, spray painting and veneering. The team measures projects carefully, discusses designs and materials with clients, and can provide samples, drawings and 3D renderings.
The company works directly with homeowners and alongside architects, interior designers and builders. During installation it removes existing joinery where needed, completes the fitting and clears the site for the work.
