Sound of Silence Acoustic and Vibration Solutions provides acoustic testing, consulting and design for residential, commercial and industrial spaces. Its work includes environmental noise surveys, speech intelligibility and reverberation testing, sound insulation assessments, vibration analysis and noise control.

The company designs acoustic environments for homes, cinemas, studios, schools, offices, auditoriums, places of worship and factories. It also provides soundproofing and acoustic treatments for home theatres, workspaces and heritage buildings.

Director consultant Aliasgar Chitalwala has over 15 years of experience in acoustics and vibration engineering. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Acoustics and holds a master’s degree in Acoustic and Vibration Engineering from the University of Southampton. The team also conducts workshops and training in acoustics.
