Silent Windows - Soundproof Windows London

Silent Windows by Hugo Carter designs, makes and installs bespoke windows and doors intended to reduce outside noise in homes, hotels and architectural projects. Its products include soundproof sash and casement windows, secondary windows, acoustic glass and soundproof doors, as well as high-performance and Passive House windows.

The company began in 2013 after an architect asked for help reducing noise at a property in Marylebone. Its team includes acoustic specialists, surveyors, designers and installers, and it says it never outsources. An initial visit measures noise levels and discusses suitable options; customers receive a quotation and noise report based on the survey.

If a customer proceeds, senior surveyors take detailed measurements and confirm materials and finishes before the order goes to the factory. Manufacturing takes about ten weeks, with progress updates every three weeks. Installation is overseen by one project manager, and the team makes a follow-up call one week later. The company works across the UK with homeowners, hoteliers and architects.
