Sash Windows

South London Sash Windows, trading as Eden Joinery, makes and fits wooden double-glazed sash windows, including replacements for rotted windows. The team also refurbishes traditional sash windows, draught-proofs them and repairs or replaces sash cords.

Three of the team previously worked for a sash window company for 12 years before setting up their own business. The group includes fitters, restorers and a master carpenter and joiner, and says it carries out the work itself.

Refurbishment can include new staff and parting beads, nylon sash cords, adjusted window weights and new furniture with security fittings. Customers pay for refurbishment when satisfied; new double-glazed window orders require a deposit, with the balance due after completion when the customer is happy. The company also makes and fits patio and front doors and covers most of South London.
