Sash Doctor The Window Specialist

Sash Doctor repairs, refurbishes and draught-proofs sash windows across London, Essex and Hertfordshire. Its work includes sash cord and rotten sill replacement, re-weighting, glass replacement, and repairs to timber windows and doors. Where a sash or sill cannot be durably repaired, the company handcrafts a replacement to fit the original frame; it says full window replacement is needed only in exceptional cases.

For draught-proofing, the company uses discreetly positioned seals and offers a free test-window appointment. It takes care to protect floors and furniture while working, and provides a free after-sales advisory service with a three-year guarantee on materials and workmanship.
