Salmon Building

Salmon Building is a family business offering project-managed refurbishments and renovations, structural alterations, garden offices and studios, kitchens and bathrooms. Its other work includes fitted furniture, plastering, engineered wood flooring, painting and decorating, electrical work and heating.

For most projects, the company visits the property to discuss and survey the requirements, then provides a detailed estimate with costs broken down by work area. It recommends the JCT home owners contract, with staged payments based on progress, an agreed completion date and 5% retention for three months. The balance is due on satisfactory completion.

The business draws on carpentry and local building experience, using established techniques alongside new materials and approaches. Its stated working aims include timely completion and quality finishes. References and visits to previous work are available by arrangement.
