Rooftop Rooms Ltd

Rooftop Rooms designs and builds loft conversions, including Velux, hip-to-gable, rear dormer, mansard and L-shaped dormer styles. The company has operated since 2004 and moved its offices to Enfield in 2007, serving North and East London, Hertfordshire and Essex.

Customers work with an in-house design team and a project manager. The company describes an end-to-end process that covers consultation, design, planning permissions, construction, safety inspections and sign-off. It also offers architectural and engineering services for loft projects.

Directors Colin Allison and Gary Smith are carpenters by trade. The company says it provides in-house training and an apprenticeship scheme, and that many craftspeople have been with it since leaving school. Rooftop Rooms says it has completed thousands of loft conversions and provides insurance for its services.
