About M&J Development
M&J Development is a family-run construction company specialising in residential new builds, complex extensions and refurbishments. It also takes on commercial work. Its services include main-contractor project management, groundworks, brick and blockwork, timber framing, roofing, plastering, electrical, plumbing and HVAC work.
The directors say the family has built homes across generations and that they support apprentices with NESCOT College in Surrey. M&J works with clients, a principal design team and subcontractors to take a project from plans through construction. Its maintenance service is available to previous clients and other property owners.
The company also has a joinery workshop producing made-to-order doors, windows, wardrobes, staircases, cabinets and cupboards. Its joinery team can handcraft and install bespoke pieces, including sash windows, vanity units and wardrobes. M&J describes its work as tailored to each project.
The company says it recycles reusable materials on site and uses recycling providers that guarantee collected materials are reused or recycled. Its portfolio includes homes and conversions in Surrey and London.
