Legacy sash windows

Legacy Sash Windows repairs, restores and replaces timber sash and casement windows and wooden doors across London and the surrounding regions. The team offers double glazing and reglazing for existing sash windows, draught-proofing, sash cord repairs, window painting and decorating, and new timber window installation. Its stated approach is to repair original windows where possible, preserving their character and recommending replacement when needed.

The company works with homeowners and contractors, from single-window repairs to larger projects. It describes a quotation visit to discuss options and take measurements, followed by a detailed emailed quote and estimated lead time. The team protects floors, walkways and furniture, uses vacuums with power tools, cleans up each day and removes rubbish.

Legacy Sash Windows says new installations carry a 15-year guarantee and refurbished windows and doors a one-year warranty. It offers free quotes and states that work can typically begin within one to two weeks after project details are finalised.
