About Kantec

Kantec is a London-based residential design and construction company specialising in refurbishments, extensions, and loft and basement conversions. Its in-house design service can take a project from architectural drawings and planning applications through to construction and handover. A surveyor visits to discuss the home, ideas and budget, then provides a detailed quotation.

Project coordinators and site managers plan the build, with weekly progress meetings for clients. Co-founder and director Martin Kantec has 20 years’ experience in residential construction and has overseen teams on bespoke projects. Co-founder Suk Grewal has been responsible for more than 150 residential projects. Operations Manager Mac Sulewski has worked as a Kantec project coordinator since 2013.

After construction, the team talks clients through the finished space and its documentation, then arranges a later meeting to address issues that have arisen. Kantec says its aftercare service continues after the team leaves. Its projects include full-property refurbishments, extensions and loft conversions.
