About Janine Stone & Co.
Janine Stone & Co. is a London practice founded by Janine and Gideon Stone in 1987. It provides residential architecture, luxury interior design and construction project management for private homes in London, the countryside and internationally.
Clients can appoint the disciplines separately or bring the team together from early design and planning through construction and final fit-out. The practice manages new builds, whole-home remodelling, extensions and renovations, including listed and period properties. Its Clarity service gives prospective buyers a pre-purchase appraisal of design potential, planning feasibility, likely costs and timing.
For construction projects, the practice acts as main contractor and takes contractual responsibility for the finished work. It agrees a programme and cost plan with the client, procures subcontractors through competitive tender and provides open-book cost reporting. A named project manager and site supervision support the work through snagging and handover.
