About J.M Construction Limited
J.M Construction Limited is a Chartered design and build company undertaking construction, home renovation and basement conversion projects. It also offers architectural and interior design, property development, project management, and aftercare and maintenance.
The company was formed in 2013 by its managing director, James Murdoch. It says its team has more than 40 years of combined industry experience and carries out work with its own tradespeople rather than subcontractors.
Projects begin with a property visit and consultation, followed by concept drawings and initial budget costs. The company prepares planning applications and construction drawings where required, then provides project schedules and regular client updates. At handover, clients receive maintenance manuals and warranties; tailored aftercare packages are also available. Free consultations and quotes are offered.

What customers say
JM Construction worked with us every step of the way on this project. We were looking for a bespoke high end finish on our home and we got it with this company. They made sure the job was completed within the times specified and to a very high standard. Highly recommended!
JM Construction did an amazing job for us. They installed a loft conversion giving us another bedroom and en-suite, a side and rear extension and a full house renovation. Highly recommended.
James and his team did a very good job, and an excellent finish. Communication was thorough and there were no hidden charges. I recommend JMC and would use them again.
