Historic Joinery
Bespoke timber doors, windows and shutters from a Kennington workshop
About Historic Joinery
Historic Joinery makes and restores timber doors, windows and shutters, with work for Victorian and Georgian homes as well as new builds. Its joinery includes sash and casement windows, front and internal doors, bespoke wardrobes, cupboards, shelving, bookcases and kitchens.
Owner Mycroft runs the business with a team of surveyors, designers, joiners and carpenters. The team works from a workshop in Kennington, where visitors can make an appointment to see the traditional manufacturing process.
Projects can include consultation, design, manufacture and installation. The company says it sources timber from FSC-certified sustainable sources and offers shutter repairs and alterations at its factory.
