GSS Piling undertakes specialist piling, underpinning, structural work and basement construction, including projects below or close to existing buildings. Its Geostructural Solutions work includes residential basements in London, with examples below the water table and deeper than 11 metres.
The company offers restricted-access piling and groundworks, alongside structural work such as openings, crane bases, beams, propping and piled rafts. It can deliver basement projects using top-down or bottom-up construction and works with architects and structural engineers from an early stage.
GSS operates piling rigs and excavators for plant hire, with or without crews, subject to availability. Its support team services and maintains the equipment from a depot in Radlett. The head office is in Borehamwood.
