About Essex Damp Proofing
Essex Damp Proofing treats damp in homes and commercial buildings across Essex and surrounding areas. It has more than 20 years’ experience in damp proofing and offers a survey by a qualified surveyor to identify the cause before recommending a solution. Surveys and quotes are free, and the company says its quotes have no obligation.
Its work includes rising and penetrating damp treatment, damp-proof courses, re-plastering, waterproofing and tanking. It also converts basements and cellars, treats mould, installs positive input ventilation units, applies flooring resin systems and treats woodworm, dry rot and wet rot. The company says it can replace flooring, bathrooms, kitchens and doors affected by damp.
Before work starts, the company discusses the project and scope with the client, then provides a quote intended to include the work required without extra charges for wall build-up, refitting skirting boards or removing rubble. It states that its work and treatments carry a 25-year guarantee, with manufacturer guarantees also available for its approved systems.
