Deans Property Preservation
Building, renovation and bespoke kitchens in North London
About Deans Property Preservation
Deans Property Preservation is a family-owned building and renovation firm led by John Dean. It works on loft and basement conversions, extensions and period restorations, and offers bespoke kitchens, custom wardrobes and handmade furniture. John has more than 40 years of experience in London property work and personally oversees projects from the first site visit to the final finish.
Each project begins with an on-site consultation. The company records the brief, then prepares a detailed specification and tender with annotations and photographs so the client and contractor agree the scope and price before work starts. Where needed, it can introduce architects, structural engineers and interior designers from its network.
Once appointed, Deans acts as main contractor and single point of contact, coordinating trades and suppliers and liaising with Building Control and other specialists. It sets out a project timeline, keeps clients updated, and says its sites are kept tidy and secure. The company works across North London and the surrounding boroughs, with projects in Islington, Hampstead, Highbury and Barnet.

What customers say
Excellent and efficient service, top quality finish and exceptional aftercare. Highly professional and great communication throughout.
John and team did a great job on a large project including building an extension, internal layout changes, and redecoration. All to a very high standard.
Deans just converted my loft adding a large double bedroom and a en-suite bathroom. The project was finished on schedule and on budget.
