Carpentry, kitchens and timber windows in Romford
About D.A. Greenwood Carpentry LTD
Romford Carpenter is a family-run carpentry business established in 2005. Founder and lead carpenter Dan Greenwood works with a small team on residential and commercial projects, from individual shelves and repairs to full-house refurbishment. The business offers bespoke furniture, fitted kitchens, stair and door work, timber windows and flooring.
For timber windows, the service covers new wooden windows, sash restoration, casement repairs, glazing replacement, draught-proofing, and frame or sill repairs. Flooring work includes solid wood, engineered wood, laminate and luxury vinyl tile, with subfloor preparation and finishing. Kitchen projects range from bespoke units to fitting kitchens from suppliers such as IKEA and Howdens.
The process starts with a discussion and site visit. Dan talks through materials, prepares sketches or drawings for approval, then quotes for the agreed work. The company says it aims to deliver on time, keep the workspace organised and leave the property clean.

What customers say
Would happily recommend Dan. 12 new oak internal doors, two new floors and a banister completed by him. His attention to detail and perfectionism shows in the quality of his work. Thank you Dan. You have transformed our home.
I am glad that I came across Dan couple of years ago when searching online for a local kitchen fitter. Dan undertook the entire project from planning, ordering and fitting new kitchen. It was delivered to a high standard. He and his team ensured that they left the place clean and tidy everyday after work.
Dan came to lay new laminate flooring in my hall. He did an excellent job, managing to put the laminate under the skirting without having to remove it. Also had to trim 4 doors and make 2 door trims. I couldn't be happier with the finished product.
