Carrington Leigh - Design and Build
Residential design and building services in East London
About Carrington Leigh - Design and Build
Carrington Leigh is an East London design and build company founded in 2013, working mainly on residential construction. It undertakes extensions and internal refurbishments, basement and cellar conversions, joinery and front-of-house renovations, alongside energy and home-technology work. Its services page lists heat pumps, solar panels, home battery storage, insulation, underfloor heating and EV charging systems.
The founder spent a decade working with high-net-worth individuals in the City of London before setting up the company. During a build, clients have a dedicated point of contact. The company says it aims to give notice for decisions, provide transparent prices and realistic timelines, and uses specialist trades wherever possible. It also works with local firms for architectural and interior design.
Carrington Leigh says it is fully insured and a member of the Federation of Master Builders. It reports that more than 80% of its waste is recycled and that its company fleet is fully electric.

What customers say
We recently worked with Carrington Leigh on reinstating a basement flat into our main house. The job included an extension, digging out a terrace, layout change, new roof, tanking, all new plumbing, electrics & all interior finishes.
We trusted Carrington & Leigh with the complete replacement of the hot water system in an outdated house. Further to this they constructed a new downstairs toilet (from a storage cupboard) and rebuilt the family bathroom.
I would recommend Carrington-Leigh for any type of building work!
