Build Team
Extension and loft conversion specialists in London
About Build Team
Build Team was founded by Dan Davidson in 2007 and specialises in designing and building extensions and loft conversions for London homes, particularly Victorian and Edwardian terraces in south and west London. The company reports completing its first 100 extensions in 2013, reaching 1,000 projects in 2022 and more than 1,750 by 2026.
Customers can choose design only, design and build, or a build using their own architect’s drawings. Its in-house team includes architects and build managers, alongside engineers and surveyors. Build Team says it can guide clients through measured surveys, planning applications and building regulations, then manage construction through to completion.
The company quotes fixed fees for design, with build costs put in writing before customers commit. Its stated terms include a two-year defects liability period and a three-year structural warranty. It also offers payment in arrears and a PriceLock pricing model. A free design consultation is available to discuss layout, costs and timing.

What customers say
We used Build Team for the design, planning and construction of our side return extension. We fully recommend them.
Build Team did our house top to bottom, and were very professional throughout. Our build manager was always organised and on top of things.
It was a truly wonderful experience (something I never thought I would ever say about a major build).
