About Bouwen Studios - Garden Rooms
Bouwen Studios designs and builds bespoke garden studios, saunas and outbuildings. Customers can choose an individual design and build service or its architect-designed Signature range, which includes studios, saunas and outbuildings with kitchen and bathroom facilities.
The team manages projects from consultation and site assessment through design, planning, technical drawings, groundworks, manufacture, installation and handover. A site visit and quote are available; quotes are locked for eight weeks. The company provides warranty documentation and aftercare.
Founder Dominic James studied and worked in architecture before establishing the business. Its team includes an architect, carpenters, an electrician and an apprentice carpenter. Near its East London workshop, local projects use on-site timber framing; other projects can use prefabricated modules for crane delivery and rapid assembly.
