Bird & Wedge
Roofing and building services in North London
About Bird & Wedge
Bird & Wedge is a North London family-run roofing and building business and a division of Ernest Wedge Roofing Ltd. The company says its roofing experience spans more than 100 years and describes work on homes and businesses across London and the Home Counties.
Its services include installing and repairing slate, tiled and flat roofs, roof condition surveys, guttering, fascias and soffits. The team also undertakes loft and garage conversions, extensions, property refurbishment, and kitchen, bathroom, shower and wet room design and installation.
For loft conversions, the company handles permissions, structural calculations, working drawings and building regulation approval. Kitchen and bathroom installations are planned around a four to six week timeframe, and the company states that this work is guaranteed. Its roofing work includes repairs to chimneys, guttering, fascias and soffits, as well as repointing and brickwork repairs.
Bird & Wedge also offers landscaping, patios, paving, walkways, garden walls and fencing. Roofing projects mentioned by the company include the London Palladium and Camden Roundhouse.
