Beechhall Joinery designs, makes and installs bespoke timber windows and doors for homeowners, architects and designers. Founded by James Gilchrist in 2006, the business works from its own workshop in Waltham Abbey and has a showroom on Hackney Road. Its range includes sash and casement windows, front doors and French doors, with designs made to suit period and contemporary homes.
The team combines traditional joinery techniques with precision machinery and uses Accoya timber for some products. Windows and doors are made to order, with glazing and finishing options available. James continues to lead the company. Customers can arrange a showroom visit or factory tour to see displays and discuss design choices. The company says orders may involve a wait of six months to a year depending on the work already under way.
