BDL Blackheath (Build & Developments London Ltd)
Home renovations, extensions and landscaping in South East London
About BDL Blackheath (Build & Developments London Ltd)
BDL Blackheath is a residential builder founded in Blackheath in 2015. It works across South East London on renovations, extensions, new builds, landscaping and low-carbon retrofit. Its founder, Mariusz Mazurek, began working in Blackheath in 2003; the company now has a 30-strong team.
Projects range from single rooms to whole-home refurbishments and large extensions. Homeowners can choose an architect-led, design-and-build or construction-only route. The company starts with a consultation about the property, budget and timescale, then provides cost breakdowns and schedules before work begins.
The team also redesigns gardens, including planting, paving and finishing, and advises on interior layouts, lighting, flooring and bespoke joinery. Retrofit work can include insulation, ventilation and heating improvements, with care for original features in period homes.
A dedicated project manager and site supervisor oversee each project, with regular site inspections and progress updates. After completion, BDL agrees a snagging list and provides a two-year workmanship warranty; it says roofing and some specialist installations have longer guarantees.
