Barnsbury Joinery

Barnsbury Joinery makes and restores timber windows and bespoke joinery for period and listed buildings. Its work includes sash and casement windows, shutters, doors, staircases, panelling, fitted cabinetry and timber shop fronts. The London studio makes joinery by hand to match original profiles and detailing.

Established in 1987, the company works across London and the South East. Each project begins with an on-site survey and a proposal setting out the work. The team advises on what can be repaired and what needs replacing; where appropriate, it restores existing timber, renews sash cords and adds discreet draught-proofing.

Its own fitters install the work and the company says they leave properties clean and tidy at the end of each day. Painting and decorating, glazing and maintenance are also offered. Outside London and the South East, made-to-measure windows, shutters and doors are available supply-only across the UK.
