A.C. Wilgar Plumbing & Heating

A.C. Wilgar provides plumbing, heating and cooling services in Kent and South London, with branches in Orpington and Beckenham. It has worked in gas central heating and plumbing since 1985 and says it has more than 40 years of experience.

Founder and CEO Billy Wilgar started the business in 1985 and remains involved, conducting surveys and post-installation quality-control visits. The company employs its own staff rather than using subcontractors, and says its engineers have no financial incentive to rush installations.

Its services include boiler installation, repair and servicing, new central heating systems, power flushing, radiators, plumbing repairs, emergency plumbing, air source heat pumps, air conditioning and smart controls. The team also fits tanks and taps and carries out landlord gas safety checks.

Customers can book engineers online or use the company’s quote wizard for a new boiler. A.C. Wilgar says it carries out annual quality audits and provides aftercare. Its service club covers parts and labour for problems occurring on a customer’s system.
