A & B Glassworks
Glass, glazing and bespoke glasswork in North London
About A & B Glassworks
A&B Glassworks is a family-run glass and glazing business serving London. Formed in the mid-sixties by Stan Andrews and Doug Bailey, the business later passed to Brian Ford, who ran it from the late 1970s until 2020. His son James and James’s partner Harriet then took over.
The shop offers glazing, glass repairs, mirrors, tabletops, splashbacks, shower screens, picture framing and replacement sash windows. The team also offers bespoke doors, sashes and shutters, balustrades, shower screens and made-to-measure splashbacks.
It can provide a free survey, explain the work and lead times in its quotation, and arrange fitting after the scope and price are agreed. James is the owner and Harriet is shop manager; the company aims to explain its methods clearly and offer advice without pressure.

What customers say
Thanks to you Matt and James, I am so pleased with the octagonal mirror you fitted in my bathroom.
James changed fifteen misted units at my flat, he worked cleanly and with as little disturbance as possible while I worked from home. The price was excellent as well.
A&B fitted a sandblasted number above my front door and supplied a glass tabletop at short notice and in time for Passover. Me and my family were very happy with the work.
